The philosophy that distinguishes our NGO Earth and Being is the fruit of a family formation, two sisters with a different vision of our country: Peru, where we were born and raised. Thanks to our mother, Mrs. Lily Cuculiza de Schaefer, who always instilled in us values ​​such as love, respect, unity, solidarity, equality, tolerance, will and responsibility, and who also inspired us to found Tierra and Being with the aim of following in their footsteps and helping those who need it most.

We grew up surrounded by humble, sick and needy people, thanks to the social work that our mother carried out on a daily basis, not only welcoming homeless children and young people into our home, who were raised with us like our own brothers, but also through her work as President of the Northern Region of the Peruvian Red Cross and above all with her constant work in high-impact natural disasters and even the war with Ecuador.

Thanks to his day-to-day teachings, we learned that the worst sin we can live with is indifference towards poverty, injustice, intolerance and laziness, we know that the best attitude we can have in these cases is that of fighting tirelessly every day to help as many people as possible, and in doing so not neglecting, doing it with transparency and honesty, to show that it is possible.

Our main philosophy then, is to help, serve and lead by example with action. Sustain that
things can be done better if they are done with professionalism, honesty and love.
